÷Room 6- Homework Week 11 - Due Friday 15^th July

Homework Tasks:

1.  Reading (15 min per night). Please bring in some reading material (magazine, book or comic) to share with a classmate.

2.   Mathletics – Log on to the Mathletics website. I have set three Mathematic tasks for you to complete.

3. Maths: Revision of Multiplication and Division Problems:

Joyce has 8342 tickets. If she shares them among 97 friends, how many tickets does each friend get?

William went to the store 3 times last month. He buys 98 bottle caps each time he goes to the store. How many bottle caps did William buy last month?

Amanda wants to split a collection of erasers into groups of 49. Amanda has 343

erasers. How many groups will be created?

Julie has 7030 marbles stored in boxes. If there are 95 boxes, how many marbles must go in each box?

4. Log on to our Room 6 blog (reremoanaroom62011.blogspot.com) and try to solve the riddles I have put on there.

5. Spelling list –As well as learning your words, you need to find out the meaning of each of your words and write them into your homework book.
